Disclosure: some links on this page are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This content is for information only and is not medical advice — talk to your doctor before starting any supplement.
HarmoHealth is an independent research website about supplements marketed for heart health, healthy blood pressure and cholesterol. We are not a manufacturer, a clinic or a pharmacy, and we are not affiliated with any of the brands we write about beyond the affiliate programs described in our affiliate disclosure.
What we do
Supplement sales pages are long, persuasive and often contradictory. We read them so you can see the facts in one place: what the product is marketed for, which ingredients the maker names, what it costs, what the guarantee says, and what is missing. We then compare those ingredients with what public health agencies and peer-reviewed reviews say.
What we do not do
- We do not test products or run trials.
- We do not publish testimonials, customer quotes, star ratings or rankings based on personal use.
- We do not give medical advice or tell anyone to change their medication.
- We do not claim any supplement cures, treats or prevents disease.
How each page is researched
- Official source first. Product facts come only from the official sales page and its order section, read as text. If a price or ingredient is shown only in an image, or a field is blank, we leave it out.
- Contradictions are reported, not resolved. When a page says one thing in one place and something else in another, we tell you both.
- Health information comes from neutral sources, mainly the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, MedlinePlus, the FDA, and systematic reviews indexed in PubMed.
- Safety comes first on a heart site. Every product page includes who should avoid it and which medicines may interact.
How pages are updated
Supplement offers change often. Each article shows the date it was last updated, and we recheck prices, guarantees and ingredient lists when we revise a page. If an official page changes after our update, the official page and the checkout terms take priority over anything written here.
A note on your health
If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes or kidney disease, your doctor and pharmacist should hear about any supplement before you start it. No product on this site replaces prescribed treatment.
